CUA50120 Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance)

The Diploma reflects the role of dancers working or aspiring to work in professional dance companies.

At this level individuals are expected to apply theory and creative skills in different situations and to display initiative and judgement in planning activities. They have autonomy in performing complex technical operations and can be responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating the work of others within broad but generally well-defined parameters.

The job roles that relate to this qualification may include dancer (pre-professional level). Training 6 hours a day in our state-of-the-art facility, only five minutes from Adelaide’s CBD. Students are trained under the guidance of our world class teaching faculty lecturers and mentors who will nurture and develop students into how they can become a professional in this industry.

At ACPA we recognise the strengths and weaknesses of each individual and understand that talent is developed in various stages. It is for this reason that we combine formal training and assessment with yoga, Pilates, and fitness programs.
