CUA40320 CERTIFICATE IV IN DANCE TEACHING AND MANAGEMENT
The Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management is designed for experienced dancers who are ready to lead their own classes and programs in studio, school or community settings. Students learn to plan and deliver lessons, support student wellbeing, and take on entry-level leadership and management responsibilities.
The course runs on a structured weekly timetable at ACPA, combining technique classes (such as jazz, ballet and musical theatre) with supervised teaching practice, rehearsal projects and theory tasks. Learners gain real-world experience in live studio settings while developing skills in safe dance practice, child safety, program design and basic studio management.
Students who successfully complete this qualification may be eligible for Stage 2 credits towards their SACE Certificate. The exact number of credits depends on SACE recognition and each student’s enrolment pattern and should be confirmed with their school or SACE coordinator.
